The activities of Daneshpajoohan
Pishro Higher Education Institute’s International Office in a glance
Daneshpajoohan Pishro Higher Education Institute commenced its
international activities in 2009, by communicating with German universities and
academic societies, in order to increase its academic level, enhance the
experience and knowledge of its students and faculty members, and prepare its
graduates for working environments. Subsequently, considering the long-term
scope of extending its activities, the institute started communicating with
other academic societies from Spain, Italy, India, Senegal, and Bosnia and
Herzegovina. These activities, in summary, include:
· 2018: The joint collaboration Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)
between Daneshpajoohan Pishro Higher Education Institute (Architecture and
Urban Development Department) and Sapienza University of Rome, Italy.
· 2018: The joint collaboration MoU between Daneshpajoohan Pishro
Higher Education Institute (Architecture and Urban Development Department) and
Sinhgad Institutes, India.
· 2017: Commencing cooperation with Pavillon de l'Arsenal of the Paris
Council in publishing the video and book collection of “Methods for Creating a
Different World”, to analyze the works of top contemporary architects.
· 2017: Sending 10 architecture students and instructors to summer
schools of Bauhaus University of Weimar, Germany. These summer courses consist
of:
· Design Elements and Principles
· Urban Performances
· English Communication Skills
· Experimental Painting
· Deutsch
· 2017: Sending one mechanical engineering student to the summer
school of Jade University of Applied Sciences, Germany.
· 2017: Joint collaboration MoU between Daneshpajoohan Pishro Higher
Education Institute (Architecture and Urban Development Department) and the
Technical University of Dortmund (Spatial Planning Department), Germany.
· 2017: Submitting and requesting joint projects with the Spatial
Planning Department of Technical University of Dortmund in the form of “Higher
Education Dialogue with the Muslim World”, supported by The German Academic
Exchange Service (DAAD).
· 2016-2017: Performing an urban development joint project between
the students of Daneshpajoohan Pishro Higher Education Institute and Technical
University of Dortmund in graduate level
· 2016: Conducting a 7-day Digital Architecture Workshop with
Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (IAAC).
· 2011 – 2017: Cooperation and partnership in holding international
workshops, and inviting lecturers and guests for the annual, international conferences
of Daneshpajoohan Pishro Higher Education Institute called “Sustainable
Development and Urban Construction”.
· 2015: Performing joint dissertations for urban development
master’s degree students with Technical University of Dortmund.
· 2014 & 2015: Sending 6 /architecture and civil engineering
students to summer schools of Bauhaus University of Weimar, Germany.
· 2014 & 2015: Sending 3 mechanical engineering students to
Hybrid Vehicles summer course of Technical University Ingolstadt, Germany.
· 2011 & 2012: sending ten students and instructors to summer
schools of Erfurt University of Applied Sciences (FHE), Germany.
· 2009 & 2011: Sending 4 Civil Engineering students to 2-months
long internship courses in Ruhr University Bochum, Germany.
· Continuous cooperation meetings with Iran’s representative of
DAAD.
· Meeting with the manager of Iran-Iraq Bureau of DAAD, DAAD
headquarters, Bonn, Germany.
The scope of international activities
of Daneshpajoohan Pishro Higher Education Institute
· Conducting higher education programs
in undergraduate and graduate levels in the form of Dual Degrees and Joint
Programs.
· Signing scientific-research MoUs with top-rank universities of
Europe in order to carry out joint educational-research programs, instructors
and students exchange programs, and conducting seminars and joint educational
workshops, etc.
· Conducting short-term courses for Iranian students and instructors
in Germany, and vise versa.
· Sending post-graduate students to the possible sabbaticals in
Europe, especially Germany.
· Sending master’s degree students to German universities in the
form of Spring courses.
· Continuing the performance of short-term courses with IAAC, Spain.
Additionally, Daneshpajoohan Pishro Higher Education Institute
intends to commence its international activities in the regional level as well.
